  1. Loving your job is essential because at least a half of your day spent at work. Your office is your second home, and if you’re upset about being at work because you don’t love what you do, you’re on average a sad person.
  2. It will be very difficult for you to invest in your career, what would make you seek out extra training, courses, learnings etc.. It’s hard to imagine spending extra time outside of work investing in something you don’t like.
  3. You’ll never be truly great at what you do if you don’t have any passion for your work, how will you ever improve in your field or get promotions, It’s hard to imagine promoting someone who isn’t great at what they do, and doesn’t really show an interest in what they do. You will lack fulfillment If you spend your time doing something other than what you love to do, you’ll always have that feeling like you’re missing out on something. One Conversation That Could Change Your Salary — Are You Ready to Have It?

  1. Look for the challenge in what you do. Don’t lose yourself in the everyday boredom of your job, kill the routine! Open your eyes again to what you do and find new ways of approaching it so that it becomes new and exciting.
  2.  Analyze your day and determine what tasks you enjoy and which ones you don’t. Then find ways to make those unpleasant tasks more enjoyable. Find a better way to do it. Technology and tricks can often help you shortcut boring steps into ones that are more interesting. get it over as early as possible so you can move on to something you like more.
  3. Negotiate changes in your job description. Talk to your boss about altering your workload or the kind of work you currently do. Whether you’re overworked and overwhelmed, or completely unchallenged, your boss will understand that you will never be as productive as you could be unless something gives. Just being able to have this conversation can be a great start to shaping something new. Your goal is to come up with a solution that will not only be best for you, but also work for your boss, your team and your organization.
  1. Work toward career growth. If you are not already familiar with the various ways toward promotion, meet with your boss and ask him if there are positions further up the ladder for which you could strive toward. If there are not, then ask for additional responsibilities and challenges. You could also learn new methods and skills in your current capacity that can add a fresh approach to your job.
  2. Find the value in what you do. Recognize that everyone plays an important role in their position. Find out what yours is and be proud of what you do.
  1. Start with the least enjoyable tasks in an attempt to love your work. Begin your day with the difficult projects and end it with the easy fun tasks. That way you are not plodding through your day anticipating the annoying projects that you will soon have to face. Get them over with and spend the rest of your day stress free and happy that the worst of your projects is complete.
  1. Remind yourself of why you do what you do. If this was your career choice, ask yourself why and what motivated you to choose this path. If you are just burnt out, then you need to reenergize yourself and your attitude by going to the gym after work or taking a walk during your break. The idea is to remove the stress of your work and rediscover what motivated you in the first place and get back in that place. Remember that you applied for that job for whatever reason. You can learn to love working or leave it. The decision is in your hands.
  1. Keep a certain goal of achievement constantly in view. Realize that work well and worthily done makes life truly worth living.
  1. Expand your interest and focus on those around you. Even if you have made friends, learn more about them or make friends with some of your other colleagues. Being with people you like will make working fun. Consider building relationships with your clients also. These are the people you spend most of your time with, so learn more about them and how you can relate to them.
  2. Try to make work a fun place to be. This does not mean neglecting your duties, but rather, it means a change in your attitude so you don’t see every job you do as a boring task. Doing your job with a more positive attitude and focusing on the parts that are more fun for you will help lighten your overall mood. Understand that your job does not define who you are, but your approach toward your job does. So recognize your overall mood when you are at work and if you don’t like what you see, then change it. Work with purpose or do not work at all, Only you have control over your situation.
